Our Moon Landing Coding Adventure has been designed with remote delivery, homeschooling and COVID-19 safety in mind, so the show can go on whatever the circumstances!

Inspire and engage your KS1 and KS2 children with an adventure of a lifetime, as they send a robot to the moon.
We deliver our exciting 25 minute show to your children on a specified day, this can be:

ABOUT THE SHOW
How long ago did the first person land on the moon, and how many people helped work out how to get them there? This exciting show gives the children insight into the STEM careers involved in this amazing achievement and shows some of the role models who made it all possible - including ground breakers Katherine Johnston (Mathematician) and Margaret Hamilton (Software Engineer).
With the help of ‘Professor Trice’ and ‘Al the Robot’ the children learn to design, test and debug algorithms which aim to get Al on to a Saturn V rocket, to take her to the moon! But will they succeed in getting her on board?
COMPUTING CURRICULUM KEY TERMS
We ensure key terms in the computing curriculum are covered - as you can see by those highlighted in blue below!
KS1 curriculum (ages 5-7):
understand what algorithms are; how they are implemented as programs on digital devices; and that programs execute by following precise and unambiguous instructions
create and debug simple programs
use logical reasoning to predict the behaviour of simple programs
KS2 curriculum (ages 7-11):
design, write and debug programs that accomplish specific goals, including controlling or simulating physical systems; solve problems by decomposing them into smaller parts
use sequence, selection, and repetition in programs; work with variables and various forms of input and output
use logical reasoning to explain how some simple algorithms work and to detect and correct errors in algorithms and programs

Access to our exciting and fun 25-minute ‘TV show’ learning about the first moon landing and covering computing curriculum key words - suitable for KS1 and early KS2 (ages 5-9).
Choose one of our age-appropriate activities to embed the learning - this could be our signature ‘Program Each Other’ activity - includes teacher/parent/carer support materials and downloadable resources. Many of these fun activities can be enjoyed in school or at home.
Silver pack £400 (+VAT):
Everything included in ‘bronze’, plus the option to have a live feed to introduce and conclude the show.
An additional activity pack with more fun worksheet activities to embed the learning further.
Gold pack £600 (+VAT and travel expenses):
