Blast off during World Space Week 2024

Prepare to blast off during World Space Week, 4th-10th October, with a FREE virtual Moon Landing Coding Adventure courtesy of the UK Civil Aviation Authority STEM Programme!

AL the Robot and 'Professor' Trice from Get with the Program appear to be standing on the Moon with space behind them filled with lots of tiny stars. They are holding a sign which reads 'Celebrate World Space Week 4th-10th October with a FREE sponsored Moon Landing Coding Adventure!' Above them is the Get with the Program logo and the UK Civil Aviation Authority logo with the words 'STEM opportunities in aviation & aerospace'

We have funding for 10 UK primary schools to run our fun learning enrichment during the autumn term. If your school is chosen to be one of the ten, you can run this coding adventure at any time during the term. However, there's no better time than World Space Week!

The children will be tasked with a mission to program AL the Robot to successfully board a Saturn V rocket ready to launch to the moon! Working together with ‘Professor’ Trice the children will learn to design, write, test and debug algorithms ticking off many of the computing curriculum key terms as well as connecting with your space themed tasks which will be running during the week. And what's even better is that this is totally FREE for you to run. It's a win-win-win!
