Cantell School go on a Net Zero Coding Adventure!

It was such a pleasure for 'Professor' Trice (CEO, Founder and Chief Coding Adventurer at Get with the Program) to join the students and teachers of Cantell School, Southampton to introduce our Net Zero Coding Adventure as they embarked on a 2 week environmental challenge!

Seeing the students dive straight into using programming and data analysis to explore meaningful ways to tackle climate change was amazing.

The enthusiasm, curiosity, and problem-solving witnessed were inspiring, and it was wonderful to see students discovering just how many exciting career paths their computer science skills can open up in the future.

Thank you to the teachers for their support and feedback, and our volunteers, Rachel Harrison-Smith & Katie Theisinger, for all their help. We can’t wait to see the innovative ideas the students develop over the next two weeks. Here’s to empowering young people to use tech for good! 🌱✨
