Creativity, a skill for life

Updated: May 14

Creative and imaginative thinking is a natural skill for most children. If you've ever had the pleasure of watching young children at play you'll see this in action! Quite literally, any object can be turned into a thing of wonder; a chair becomes a unicorn which can gallop through the sky, one touch from a magic stick and a tea-towel transforms into a treasure map, and even a cardboard box becomes a Saturn V lunar rocket... Ah!

Learning through play taps into a child's creativity. Keeping this skill alive helps to develop innovative thinking which is where the magic really starts. After all, who knows where a flash of inspiration or a spark from a wild idea can take someone!

Who would have imagined that a pretend professor with her humanoid robot could inspire the tech innovators of the future! We never really stop playing do we?!
