Dignity, Freedom and Justice For All

Today marks the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The theme for this years observance is: 'Dignity, Freedom and Justice for All'

At Get with the Program we strive to normalise visibility of under-represented groups and promote universality. Representation is everything! It allows children to develop a mindset that they are all equal and when that belief is established, they will succeed.

Whilst our focus is on technology, we are educators to our core and hold the rights laid out in Article 26 close to our hearts as described here:

"You have the right to go to school and everyone should go to school. Primary schooling should be free. You should be able to learn a profession or continue your studies as far as you wish. At school, you should be able to develop all your talents and you should be taught to get on with others, whatever their race, their religion or the country they come from. Your parents have the right to choose how and what you will be taught at school." Article 26 (simplified version) of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights
