Volunteering in a London based school on our first Bupa Coding Day in September, Kugan Kathirgamanthan assisted the teachers and children as they took part in our Healthy Lunch-Bot Coding Adventure. We just love this quote:
"If you can see it you can be it! Organisations should be actively taking part, helping locally with schools to provide Industry insights to educators (Teachers) and our future generation; so they understand the skill set needed for future job roles."
Also commenting "Volunteering in our local communities is a great way to give back to society and I want to understand how we can get more people from Bupa to help with this programme."
Way to go Kugan, we're delighted that you got involved!
Our next FREE Bupa Coding Day is scheduled for March 9th. You can sign up or nominate a school using our online form, or register your interest as a volunteer. Schools will get FREE access to a 30-minute online show and a 45-minute follow-up activity per class (plus some other additional great resources). Click here to find out more.
