Over the moon!

🚀 We’re over the Moon … literally!

What a fantastic finale for our current Reach for the Sky grant ... In our final month, an amazing 11,500+ pupils from 200+ schools in England joined our watch-along live assembly on Mars Day, facilitated by the STEM Hub and Canterbury Christ Church University!

In addition to the nearly 14,000 pupils who have participated remotely during the past year, we have smashed our target of 18,000 children aged 5-8! 🎯 We're so grateful for our Reach for the Sky grant, supported by the UK Civil Aviation Authority and the Department for Transport - inspiring the next generation of aerospace professionals through coding, creativity and space exploration ✨

👏 A huge thank you to all the schools, clubs and home education settings that took part in every region of England!

Thank you also to all those schools and clubs who have shared images of their activities - we've loved seeing you all in action! And we'd love to see more - you could email these to us, share via DM or tag us in your posts and stories 🌙💻

If you know a school that would benefit from this FREE learning enrichment opportunity, we are now booking for September when we will have our new content that includes ages 5 - 11!

This is such a great initiative and really shows how creative coding and storytelling can be used to make learning feel fun and engaging for younger students. What stands out most is how Get with the Program uses themed adventures like space missions to introduce computing concepts in a way that doesn’t feel intimidating, especially for primary school children who are just starting to explore STEM subjects. I like how the focus isn’t only on coding skills but also on problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity, which are just as important in real-world tech environments. The idea of using characters and interactive missions helps keep children engaged while still reinforcing key curriculum concepts like algorithms and debugging in a very natural way.…
