What an incredible way to round off our time at Farnborough International Airshow 2026! 🚀 ✈️✨
Pioneers of Tomorrow (the Friday of the airshow) was packed with curious minds, enthusiastic young coders and inspiring conversations about the future of space, technology and innovation.
It was fantastic to see so many children getting hands-on with our mini-bot coding activities, and a huge thank you to everyone who signed up to run a Coding Adventure for the chance to win a pair of AL the Robot's flashing shoes(!) We can't wait to see even more children discovering the exciting world of coding.
One of the highlights of the day was hearing Dr Meganne Christian FRAeS and John McFall, Reserve European Space Agency (ESA) astronauts and also sneaking a selfie with AL the Robot - a truly inspiring moment that perfectly captured the spirit of the event!
Throughout the day, we had the pleasure of sharing our mission with thousands of visitors and introducing more people to the Moon Landing Coding Collective, helping us inspire the next generation of space and tech innovators.
None of this would have been possible without our incredible volunteers, many of whom are STEM Ambassadors, and the amazing Get with the Program team (both on the day and in the planning). Your enthusiasm, energy and commitment made the day such a success.
