Close the Dream Gap

"We need to see brilliant women being brilliant, and see how they got to where they are. To imagine ourselves doing what they do."

This short film to promote the Close the Dream Gap project, made by Matell Barbie (shared via Female Equotient and Viola Davis via Instagram) so perfectly explains why we drive forward with smashing gender stereotypes and conscious/unconscious bias against women and girls in all areas of life and especially in STEM.

Gender equality is at the heart of what we do. Our coding adventures are female-led, with a female ‘professor’ and a female robot as the star of the show, and we highlight inspiring female role models throughout. We want girls to know that technology can absolutely be for them too.

Women in technology is one of our 8 pillars of how we support people and planet. Ready to hear more?
