One week to go until Bupa Coding Day 9 and the countdown has officially begun! We can't wait to deliver exciting virtual coding adventures to 5-11 year olds on 17th June (AND 11-14 year olds throughout the whole of June and July!).

It's a busy week for virtual space travel! Blasting off this week, approximately 780 children are set for an 'out of this world' learning enrichment with our virtual Moon Landing Coding Adventure! 🚀🤖

What an incredible afternoon we've had at the Great Missenden Church of England Combined School running an in-person Eco Coding Adventure assembly for 64 Year 3s!

Today is World Environment Day 🌍 Established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972 this is a day to set focus on what we as individuals, organisations, industries, and governments can do to make positive changes to help reverse the harmful impact from unsustainable, polluting, and wasteful practices on our environment, ourselves, and the animals that we share our precious planet with.

We'd like to extend a huge thank you to The STEM Hub (Canterbury) for promoting the free access to our virtual Moon Landing Coding Adventure primary school content through the Reach for the Sky grant, awarded to us by the UK Civil Aviation Authority and the Department for Transport.

Today is the official launch of the #TurnToTech campaign by the City of London Corporation. A fabulous campaign focusing on encouraging women into the digital workforce and how businesses can create environments that allow them to thrive in.

What a wonderful couple of days in Harrogate last Friday and Saturday, exhibiting at the Annual Conference of the NAHT - the School Leaders' Union.

We're on our way to Harrogate to set up our stand in readiness for the National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT) conference on 2nd & 3rd May!

...and blast off! 🚀 Today sees the first of the nominated schools to run our Moon Landing Coding Adventure funded through the Reach for the Sky grant!

Starting our week reflecting back to when we hosted a group of Year 10's (14 & 15 year olds) for some work experience. Far from simply watching and observing us, our group were actively involved in developing concept arts into components that was further developed into our unplugged 'Program Each Other' activities for our Healthy Lunch-Bot Coding Adventures.

On 12 April 1961 Yuri Gagarin, a Soviet citizen, was the first human in space. His craft Vostok 1 was designed to carry a single cosmonaut into space and orbit the Earth. It opened the way for further space exploration and was the start of the race to the Moon. Today, over 60 years later, humans are still looking to the sky to explore the solar system, planets, and whether humans can travel further than the Moon.
