It's time to beat plastic pollution

Today is World Environment Day 🌍

Established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1972 this is a day to set focus on what we as individuals, organisations, industries, and governments can do to make positive changes to help reverse the harmful impact from unsustainable, polluting, and wasteful practices on our environment, ourselves, and the animals that we share our precious planet with.

This year we are encouraged to rethink our use of plastics and how we can tackle plastic pollution.

As an organisation we promote not only the three 'R's' of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle but also 'Refuse' - if there is an alternative to plastics, choose it! And we're delighted to extend this message in our primary school content through our Eco Coding Adventure where children learn the basics of coding whilst making positive choices for their environment.
