Space South Central join the Moon Landing Coding Collective
🚀🌙 As World Space Week comes to an end, we’re shining a spotlight on our new Moon Landing Coding Collective – and today it’s the turn of Space South Central! 🚀
By joining the Coding Collective, Space South Central are helping Get with the Program bring our Moon Landing Coding Adventure to even more children aged 5–11 across the south-central region of England, inspiring them to discover that coding, technology, space and aerospace could be for them. 👩💻🧑🚀

Space South Central is one of the UK’s regional and specialist space clusters, bringing industry and academia together to accelerate space business growth, foster innovation and strengthen the region’s space sector.
Our 2025 Reach for the Sky grant, awarded by the UK Civil Aviation Authority and Department for Transport, enabled us to reach an incredible 25,000 children across England. Next, we’re aiming to match or smash that achievement – and extend our reach across the UK! 🇬🇧
We already have funding for 50 schools in England to experience our newly upgraded, remotely delivered Moon Landing Coding Adventure, thanks to the 2026 Reach for the Sky grant. But there are many more children waiting to discover what’s possible. ✨
That’s where the Moon Landing Coding Collective comes in.
We’re inviting organisations to support us through funding and/or an exchange of services, helping us reach more children while supporting their own outreach, ESG, skills development, inclusion, marketing and social value goals.
And our commitment is clear: we’ll champion and recognise every Moon Landing Coding Collective member throughout the 2026/27 academic year, helping shine a light on the difference you’re making. 🌟
Together, we can inclusively inspire the tech, space and aerospace innovators of tomorrow – starting with children aged 5–11. 🚀
Could your organisation help more children reach for the Moon… and beyond? 🌙✨
