A Space-Comm Expo round-up ...

What a fantastic time at Space-Comm Expo! 🚀

It was wonderful to connect with so many people across the space and education communities and to have such inspiring conversations about the work we’re doing at Get with the Program.

We were especially delighted by the interest in our Reach for the Sky grant, delivered in partnership with the UK Civil Aviation Authority and the Department for Transport. It was brilliant to discuss how this initiative is helping young people see a future for themselves in the space and aviation sectors.

There was also lots of excitement around the plans now underway for our next Moon Landing Coding Adventure content (which will allow us to reach up to age 11), supported by the Satellite Applications Catapult. We can’t wait to share more about how this new programme will bring space exploration into classrooms and inspire the next generation of coders, engineers, and innovators.

A particular highlight of the event was seeing Jeni Trice take part in the Space Women Alliance panel alongside Jodi Bartin, Natasha Scanes, and Kate Beresford-Green. The discussion explored how investment decisions are shaped in practice, offering valuable insights and sparking important conversations about the future of the space sector.

Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat, share ideas, and explore ways we can work together to inspire young people through space. 🌍✨
